White Tiger Jaws problems — and how to fix them
White Tiger Jaws (Faucaria candida) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Root rot from overwatering
The most common problem, especially in winter. The base of the plant becomes mushy and the leaves collapse. Always let soil dry fully between waterings and reduce watering to near-zero in cool months.

Faucaria candida flowers reliably in autumn only with sufficient direct sunlight through the growing season. Plants kept in low light or watered heavily in summer often skip flowering. Move to the sunniest available spot from spring onwards.
Mealybugs
