Waldo Blackberry problems — and how to fix them
Waldo Blackberry (Rubus ursinus × idaeus 'Waldo') is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Drying out in containers
'Waldo's' compact size makes it popular for pots, but containers dry quickly and stressed plants drop fruit. Use a large pot, loam-based compost and water consistently.
