Rabbiteye Blueberry problems — and how to fix them

Rabbiteye Blueberry (Vaccinium ashei) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.

Mummyberry (Monilinia vaccinii-corymbosi)

Fungal disease that causes shrivelled, mummified berries. Remove and destroy infected fruit; avoid overhead irrigation; apply fungicide at green tip in high-pressure areas.
