Spotted Gasteria problems — and how to fix them
Spotted Gasteria (Gasteria maculata) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Crown and root rot
Overwatering or water trapped in the leaf fan rots the base. Water at soil level, let it dry fully, and use a sharply draining mix.
