Purple Mountain Saxifrage problems — and how to fix them

Summer die-back in warm climates
This species requires cool summers and struggles below USDA zone 7 in lowland gardens. Plants decline rapidly in sustained heat above 25°C. Grow in a shaded, north-facing alpine trough or in highland gardens. Not suited to warm, humid summers.
Slugs and snails
