Philodendron Tenue problems — and how to fix them
Philodendron Tenue (Philodendron tenue) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Yellowing leaves
Typically overwatering or poor drainage. Let the top of the soil dry between waterings and ensure the pot drains freely.
Brown leaf tips and edges
Low humidity or fertiliser salt buildup. Raise humidity above 50% and flush the pot occasionally with clean water.
Scorched patches on leaves
Direct sun burns the broad glossy leaves. Move to bright indirect light or filter the sun.
