Nun's Orchid problems — and how to fix them
Nun's Orchid (Phaius tankervilleae) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Black streaking on leaves (Phaius black streak / virus)
Phaius is prone to a characteristic black-streak leaf disorder and viruses. Use clean tools, isolate affected plants, and discard confirmed virused stock to protect the collection.
