Jostaberry problems — and how to fix them
Jostaberry (Ribes × nidigrolaria) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Birds stripping fruit
Ripe dark berries are a magnet for birds; net the bush or grow it in a fruit cage as the fruit colours to protect the crop.
