Hoya Archboldiana problems — and how to fix them
Hoya Archboldiana (Hoya archboldiana) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Root rot from overwatering
Soggy, dense mix or a pot without drainage causes blackened roots and yellowing leaves. Let the mix dry well and use an open, chunky medium.
No flowers
Insufficient light is the usual cause. Move to brighter indirect light and never cut off the bare flower spurs (peduncles) - they rebloom from the same point each season.
