Helenium 'Floretan' problems — and how to fix them
Helenium 'Floretan' (Helenium 'Floretan') is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Powdery mildew on lower foliage
Progresses from the base of the plant upward in dry, warm spells. Good spacing and preventive sulphur sprays limit spread; lower leaf loss is partly cosmetic.
