Hart's Pennyroyal problems — and how to fix them
Hart's Pennyroyal (Mentha cervina) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Drying out and wilting
Unlike most herbs, this species cannot tolerate dry soil for even short periods. Wilting and leaf scorch occur rapidly if moisture is insufficient. Water generously and mulch thickly, or grow at a pond margin.
