Geranium nodosum problems — and how to fix them

Over-enthusiastic self-seeding
Seeds around freely and can crowd smaller neighbours. Deadhead before seed sets, or pull unwanted seedlings, which lift out easily when young.

Fewer blooms where light and moisture are very low. It still provides good foliage cover; add some light or moisture to lift flowering.
Powdery mildew
Whitish coating on leaves in hot, dry late summer. Shear the clump back to encourage a flush of clean fresh foliage.
