Creeping Woodland Phlox problems — and how to fix them
Creeping Woodland Phlox (Phlox stolonifera) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Powdery mildew
White fungal coating on foliage can occur in conditions of high humidity and poor airflow, particularly as the growing mat thickens. Thin out overcrowded patches, avoid wetting foliage when irrigating, and treat with neem oil or potassium bicarbonate spray.
Foliage dieback in heat
