Beet problems — and how to fix them
Beet (Beta vulgaris) is generally forgiving once you match its basics, but a few issues come up again and again. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and the fix.
Cluster germination
Each seed cluster contains 2-4 seeds; thin to 8 cm spacing.
Woody tough roots
Drought stress; water consistently.
