Syngonium — 17 species
Syngonium is a genus of fast-growing, vining tropical aroids prized for their arrow-shaped foliage in shades ranging from deep green to pale pink, as seen in cultivars like Neon Robusta and Silver Goosefoot. Indoors, they thrive in bright, indirect light but adapt well to medium-light conditions; direct sun scorches leaves, especially on variegated forms. Water when the top inch of soil dries out, keeping the mix consistently moist without waterlogging. All Syngonium species are toxic to cats and dogs, containing insoluble calcium oxalates that cause oral irritation, drooling, and vomiting.
