Selenicereus — 13 species

Selenicereus is a genus of climbing and sprawling cacti found across tropical America, spanning night-blooming Moonlight Cactus species and the widely cultivated Dragon Fruit vines (including red-fleshed and yellow-fleshed types). They need bright light — ideally several hours of direct sun — and very infrequent watering; allow the soil to dry almost completely between sessions, as wet roots rot quickly. Pet toxicity varies across the genus: dragon fruit species (Selenicereus undatus) are non-toxic to cats and dogs, but not all species have been individually assessed, so verify before buying.
