Fittonia is a genus of compact, low-growing tropical perennials — including the red nerve plant, Fittonia albivenis 'Skeleton', and Fittonia albivenis 'Juanita' — treasured indoors for their vivid, intricately veined foliage in shades of white, red, and pink. They thrive in bright to moderate indirect light and dislike direct sun, which scorches their delicate leaves.
