Euphorbia53 species

Euphorbia is one of the most diverse plant genera on Earth, encompassing everything from succulent candelabras like Euphorbia lactea 'White Ghost' to the pencil-thin Euphorbia tirucalli 'Firesticks'. Most succulent species demand six to eight hours of bright, direct sun and extremely sparing water — typically every ten to fifteen days in summer, monthly or less in winter — with soil drying fully between waterings. The defining characteristic of the genus is its milky white latex sap, present in all species. This sap is toxic to cats and dogs, causing skin and eye irritation and gastrointestinal upset. Handle with gloves.
