Amorphophallus — 14 species
Amorphophallus is a striking genus of tropical corm-forming aroids — spanning Konjac, the enormous Titan Arum, Voodoo Lily, and Elephant Foot Yam — known for dramatic single leaves and, when they flower, one of the world's most pungent blooms. They prefer bright indirect to partial sun (3–4 hours of filtered light) and need regular watering while in growth, with a sharp reduction during their pronounced dormant period. All parts of every Amorphophallus species contain calcium oxalate crystals, making them toxic to cats and dogs; keep them well out of reach of pets.
