Acorus8 species

Acorus is a genus of grass-like, rhizomatous perennials native to wetlands and stream margins across Asia and North America. Acorus gramineus and its variegated cultivars form low, arching fans of slender foliage with a faint anise scent. They thrive in bright indirect to full sun and demand consistently wet or waterlogged conditions — they are ideal at pond edges, in bog gardens, or as aquarium marginals. Keep soil perpetually moist; they will not tolerate drought. All Acorus species are toxic to cats and dogs and should be kept away from pets.
