Tulipa urumiensis is a small, multi-flowered species tulip from north-western Iran (near Lake Urmia), producing clusters of three to five star-shaped, lemon-yellow flowers with a green or bronze reverse to the petals in early to mid-spring. It naturalises readily in well-drained, sunny spots and is one of the easier species tulips to grow and keep in the garden from year to year.
