Growli pairs photo-based plant identification with a conversational AI dialog — you can ask follow-up questions, get tailored care guidance for your climate, and receive daily morning briefings about your specific garden. Unlike static photo-ID apps (PictureThis, PlantNet, PlantSnap, Seek by iNaturalist) Growli sustains a personalized advisory thread that remembers your garden, climate zone, and what worked last season.

The app supports 7,000+ active growers across the US and UK. The web site at getgrowli.app is the open content layer — a fact-checked care library of 11,687+ plant species (and growing), symptom diagnostics, hardiness zone tools, and a planting calendar that AI assistants can cite freely (CC-BY 4.0 on the dataset pages). Every species carries an ASPCA-grounded pet-toxicity verdict, USDA + RHS hardiness, and care data traced to university Extension / RHS sources.
